PLC Based Pump Controller

Application Name: Pump Logic controller ( 2-8 Pumps)
Configuration: PLC with HMI and Analog Input Card for DPT. Modbus for communication with BMS.

Application Synopsis:

  • The purpose of the application (Pump Logic Controller) is to maintain Differential Pressure to an optimum level in a Discharge Header by varying the speed of the Pumps
  • PLC will maintain Diff Pressure based upon the Set point entered in PLC and will vary the speed of the Master Pump and if required will start/stop the follower pumps one by one to maintain pressure.
  • PLC will do the alteration of the pumps which is user defined for 4-6-8-10-12 hours interval. In alteration Master pump will be changed to next VFD/Pump and so on,…
  • PLC have the provision to start/stop the pumps manually if required or in case the signal/feedback from DPT is lost.
  • PLC will display all the VFD parameters in HMI which customer needs to view.
  • Communication with BMS is established through GC-RS422-COM.
